Fundraising: Quilt Show and Quilting Studio Tour

Every other year in March, Valley Quilters Guild will present a quilt show. This is our major fund raising event, where members display quilts and wearable art, owned and made by the members. Expect to find both pieced and appliqued quilts and wall-hangings finished with either machine or hand quilting. Also, look for and support the featured Vendors, as this also augments the Guilds raised revenue.

Our first Quilt Show, Splendor in the Desert was held in March 2007. Over 300 quilts, wall hangings, and wearable art were on display. The show was a huge success, with many first show participants.

Valley Quilter's Studio Tour

In February 2008, we held our 2nd Quilter's Studio Home Tour. Ten wonderful homes were opened to tour. We will be conducting Home Tours of quilt studios every other year as an alternative fund raising event to the quilt shows.
