Charity Quilting

Every year our members make over 100 quilts for various charities.
For the year 2008-2009, the membership has approved the following charities: Ronald McDonald House of Tucson, Veterans/American Legion, Hand of a Friend Green Valley/Sahuarita area, and St. Andrews. All of the charities need quilts of various sizes with additional needs such as kitchen/food items, laundry supplies, personal toilet articles, and paper products.

Other Activities
At each meeting a new block of the month is presented, and the winners of the current months blocks are drawn. If you make two blocks each month, and are not lucky enough to win any blocks, you will still have enough for a wonderful sampler quilt at the end of the year.
Near the end of each meeting we have Sew and Tell. All of our members like to bring in and show the project they just finished. And they say every quilt tells a story, well I don't know about the quilt, but our members enjoy telling us something about their quilts.
